EDIT [again]. Eh, gonna kinda start over ^^; I'm not sure I can play Vapor as a normal wolf, so I'm gonna adjust a few things. Sorry for the bother.
Name: Cassarah [Recently created name intended to mean "what will be, will be". It is from the title of the 1956 song 'Que Sera, Sera', which was taken from the Italian phrase che sara, sara. The phrase que sera, sera is not grammatically correct in any Romance language. ~ Taken from Behind the Name]
Nickname: Case
Species: Maned wolf
Age: 2 years
Gender: Female
Eye Color: Red-amber
Pelt: Regular maned wolf pattern [see pics]
Markings: Normal maned wolf markings, though like the middle pic, has black on the backs of her ears.
Meow or bark: Normal vocalizations for Maned wolves [barks, growls, hums, whines]
Height at shoulder (quad): 2' 10''
Weight: 45 lbs
Personality: Upbeat, but nervous about trying new things [food, etc.]. She likes places with a lot of space. Is cautious when meeting someone new, but once they grow on her, she can be counted on for her friendship. Likes to bunk down inside hollow trees if they are available. Unlike most maned wolves, Cassarah enjoys company, preferring it over being on her own. Her favorite food is the wolf apple.
Special traits: Her long limbs allow her to see over tall grass. Is experienced with human things. Has a small earring her owner gave her [I'll have to draw it, I can't figure out how to describe it].
Strengths: Can be very curious, usually upbeat. Has excellent hearing.
Weaknesses: Is naive of the world, and inexperienced. Has little strength, so isn't good at hunting, especially large game [Maned wolves specialize in small game, like moles, rabbits, sometimes birds, etc.]. Is unfamiliar with the wilds. Also has belonephobia.
History: Originally born to a small clan bred in a zoo, Cassarah was purchased by a rich human family as an exotic pet. Not long after, she was given the earring she wears, her first gift from her owner. She acquired a collar as well. Growing up, she and her human family frequently traveled to different homes in quiet parts of the country, usually places with a lot of open space. She enjoyed running in the large yards and playing with her owner's children. About two years after she was bought, her owner [divorced recently] falls mortally ill. The owner leaves Cassarah to her brother, to care for her. Grief-stricken by her owner's death, Case becomes clumsy and wistful, and often gets underfoot of the brother. Not particularly inclined to care for an exotic animal, he crates her and takes her out into the wilds to be dumped. He removes the collar, but Case turns on him when he tries to remove the earring. Cassarah flees into unknown elements.
