| "yes," Whitefeather said. She was glad the kitten was okey and most of all alive. She saw a tree root that led up to the safe ground. "I'll help you up there," she told Serenity. She picked her up by her scruff and climbed the root. Finally after falling back down a few times and climbing back up, they were on firm ground. "My name is Whitefeather," whitefeather said to Serenity. Whitefeather started licking down her wet fur. It was all fluffed out.
